As of early 2026, the Los Angeles certification and most local county certifications are no longer widely accepted by many water districts.

What This Course Is
This is a focused certification prep course designed to help you successfully pass your backflow tester certification exam while also building real-world skills you’ll use in the field.
By the end of this course, you will be able to confidently take and pass the AWWA (CA-NV Section) or ABPA backflow certification exams
Note: The American Backflow Academy training course is not the certification itself — it prepares you to pass the AWWA BPAT exam. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion, which can be submitted to AWWA as proof that you meet the eligibility requirements.
